The Guidance Hub (Self-Service)
Before reaching out, check the Guidance Hub in the Tools tab.
- Searchable Guides: Access our full library of EYFS-aligned documentation.
- Mock Inspection Simulator: Practice for your Ofsted visit with our adaptive AI inspector.
- Video Tutorials: Short 60-second "How-To" clips for common tasks like invoicing or accident logging.
- AI CoPilot: Use our built-in AI assistant to ask questions like "How do I log a funded hour absence?" and get instant answers from our knowledge base.
The Help Centre (Direct Support)
If you can't find what you need, navigate to Tools > Help Centre. Select the category that best matches your needs:
1. Report a Bug
Found something that isn't working quite right?
- Select Report Bug.
- Provide a clear subject and describe what happened.
- Our engineering team will investigate and release a fix in our weekly update.
2. Contact Support
Need help with your account or a specific setting?
- Select Support.
- Type your message. A real human from our UK-based team will respond via email within 24 hours.
3. Request a Feature
Have an idea to make KinderStart even better?
- Select Feature.
- Describe your idea (e.g. "I'd love a way to export my grocery list to Tesco").
- Our product team reviews every request and adds the most popular ideas to our public roadmap.
💡Don't Panic!
Emergency Safeguarding Help. If you have an urgent safeguarding question that isn't app-related, please refer to your local authority's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). KinderStart is a tool for recording, but professional advice should always come from your local designated lead.
