Childminders who record observations and want to see each child's progress across the EYFS. There's nothing extra to fill in. It takes a couple of minutes to check.
The progress tracker is built from the observations you already log. Each EYFS tag you add becomes part of the child's progress record.
When you record an observation, tag the EYFS area and sub-area. Untagged observations don't show on the tracker.
Open the child's profile from the Children tab, choose Records, then Progress.
The Learning Stories card shows planned activities joined to the observations they led to, with how many are completed and how many are still in progress.
Tap View Full Journey. At the top you'll see how long the child has been with you and how many moments you've logged.
The Exploration Landscape has a bar for each EYFS area, sized by how many observations are tagged to it. Tap an area to see the observations behind it. It isn't a score: a short bar just shows where to plan next.
Review Timers show when the child's next statutory review is due, like the 2-Year Progress Check in England or the Personal Plan in Scotland. Next Steps Journey lists every next step you've set, split into Still Active and Achieved. Once you've linked progress observations to a step, it shows each one along the way, from the day it was set to the day it was achieved; tap one to open it (see Recording an EYFS observation).
Building progress from everyday observations means there's no extra paperwork, and the evidence for your statutory reports is already there when they're due.
