Find a consent form from your childminder, for example for outings, photos or medicine, read it and sign it in the parent app.
Parents whose childminder has sent a consent form through KinderStart, for example for outings, photos, sun cream or emergency medical treatment. You'll need the parent app (see
Getting started as a parent). It takes about two minutes.
Tap the Menu at the top left of your home screen, then choose Documents & Contracts.
On the To Sign tab, tap the filter for forms that still need your signature. The newest requests are at the top.
Tap the form to open it. You're giving your childminder permission for something, so read every part before you sign.
Scroll to Parent Signature and tap Tap to sign here. Sign with your finger, then tap Save Signature. You'll see "Document signed successfully."
The form moves out of the forms waiting for you, and your childminder can see your signature straight away. You can find the signed form again under the Signed filter.
Don't sign yet. Ask your childminder first. If they change the form, they'll send you a new one to sign.
Childminders must have your written permission before things like outings, photos or giving medicine. A form signed in the app records who signed, and when, against the exact wording you agreed to. You and your childminder always have the same copy, and there's no paper form to lose.
