Sign up with an email and password, verify your email, and you're ready to log in.
Childminders ready to start using KinderStart. You'll need an email address you check regularly. It takes about two minutes.
You only need an email address and a password to create your account. The first time you log in, KinderStart asks where you are in your childminding journey and sets itself up for that stage.
Open the KinderStart app, choose Childminder, then go to Log In.
Under the login form, tap Create an account.
! or #). Each rule is ticked off as you type.A password manager on your phone can create and remember a strong password for you.
Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. Tap any of them to read it first. Sign Up only works once your password meets every rule and the box is ticked.
Tap Sign Up. You'll see Verify Email and "We sent a code to your email." Enter the 6-digit code from the email and tap Verify Account. When you see Welcome!, go back to the login screen and log in with your new email and password.
Check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there after a couple of minutes, tap Resend Code on the same screen. If you mistyped your email, go back and sign up again with the right one.
Your account will hold children's records, including medical details and safeguarding notes. The strict password rules protect that information, and verifying your email makes sure you can always reset your password.
